Today, I had a critical reading with Dr. Usa Noytim. She gave us new sheets and I continued studying about Reviews. She asked us about the words that we learned from last week. She had some positive examples and some negative examples of the book reviews. She asked to read the texts on the sheet and asked me to do the exercise in class. Then we learnt about read the following book review’s CHRISTINE NUTTALL and found the positive and negative words. Before I finished class today, she assigned me homework to find the book reviews. I think this homework was difficult for me and made me hard to understand. I enjoyed and I was happy in this class.

Today, we had a test about Critical Thinking that we learned in the past at 8.30 a.m. Aj. Usa came on time and keeps an eyes on us all time. The test was very difficult for me. Someone came late for the test. After the test, we learned about the review of The First Grader and she asked the students understanding. She presented the power point about Author’s purpose, Author’s tone, Author’s point of view and Author’s intended audience. We got two new sheets, read and find the author’s purpose together. After the break, she assigned the exercise and answered the questions. Today, I got many new words and I enjoyed in this class very much.

My diary 15/08/2013

Today, I had a critical reading with Dr. Usa Noytim. I continued studying The First Grader. She asked us about the words that we learned of The First Grader by wrote mind mapping on the board and discussed with my friends. She asked to read the texts on the sheet about the First Grader and answered the questions from the First Grader. Then, she assigned and we discussed about the immigration in my group before I finished class today. I think this discussion make me more understand because we could share the ideas with my friends. I enjoyed and happy in this class.
